Official 5.4 SoO Raid release Schedule

Pretty stretched out LFR release schedule. I'll still be in TOT trying to get Wrathion items anyway, only at 6 of 20 so far.

Anybody planning on take off any days next week? I'm considering taking Wed and Thur.

I would but I'm doing this 90 day challenge thing so not gona skip the gym

however I should be home much earlier on Tuesdays for the next few months

The new wrathion quests involve the following
5000 timeless coins (for you not there yet you can still collect them, its not like the VP quest, but you'll need to hang onto them)

and kill 4 world bosses, for those not at the point they drop tier hands and legs (T16)

It is basically just explore around on the Timeless Isle as much as possible. There will treasure chests in various shapes/contents placed around the isle for you to get gear/stuffz. The better contents will be in chests in more obscure and/or heavily guarded areas and may only be opened once a week iirc.

Plus there will be the proving grounds which I'm interested in checking out.

And most importantly, it gives me a reason to not be at work :P

I'm more interested to see how merged realms works out. Maybe stuff I put up will finally sell on the AH now.

Connected realms won't be immediately available upon release. They will be forthcoming.

Well you could work on getting the stuff needed to upgrade your 608 cloak

Exactly what I need to do! And on six toons nonetheless!

So you can collect the 5000 coins then maybe pug the 4 world bosses.

You might get some T16 hands and legs in the process.

sure the world boss kill part of the quests to upgrade it will need you to be on the quest but you should be able to collect the 5000 coins and just don't spend them till you have the upgrade.

Dark how does this work exactly. All of my toons are either on collecting Secrets of the Empire or Runes still (a couple still on sigls :/).

Is it that instead of finishing the legendary questline, I can just buy the cloak for 5,000 timeless coins? And if so, what about the meta gem?

My understanding is that the cloak you get from the 5.3 questline is required, then upgraded via Timeless Coins and drops from the Celestials to make it legendary. So you need to have done them all previously. Also you only get loot from one celestial a week, but the quest only requires a kill, so the other 3 would be lootless.

The sigils and tomes etc, are all dropped from the first 8 bosses in SoO too, so it will be easy enough to get them on alts (I really to start it on the shaman)

Theres a quest to collect 5000 timeless coins but you don't have to be on the quest to collect them (they're also a form of currecny)

It just means you can prep them for a speedy upgrade once they have the epic cloak

I think you might loss the 5000 coins when you turn in the quest to wrathion, so might be worth it to see what you can buy with them as well

the quests just require kills of the 4 (5th not important) and collecting the coins.
the kills I bet won't be to bad (or will get better)
the coins will take awhile but unlike the VP quest wowhead says you can collect them before you have the quest. and still have it count once you get the quest.

Gathering the coins I'm not worried about because it will be new content and I'll be out exploring the island anyhow. But unless the island mobs drop sigils, secrets, and runes, I'll still be stuck with my only option being LFRs. (For alts; neglecting reg/flex on main)

I was just hoping for a fast track method since I'm so far behind and want to get the cloak for multiple toons. Hopefully they change the ToT bosses to drop everything also and increase the drop rate. My farthest along toon requires 3 more secrets.

i actually kinda started working this week... can't take days off yet, and my schedule is anything but stable atm

Only people in my guild who run LFR are people who wish to endure the pain of running them on ALTs (Or need to get caught up on their Legendary). I run Flex on my 'main alt' and on my main Flex/Normal = no more LFR = makes me much happier.

I can easily imagine that the caliber of players in LFR is much much lower than before when there was no flex alternative.
