2 edits | Connection keeps dropping. My provider is Service Electric through PenTeleData. Every year starting at around April and continuing throughout the summer, the connection just constantly drops at random intervals. It usually works fine from September to March, but this year it's still going down even in September. Maybe I'm misremembering and I've repressed some of the memories of it being bad? I don't know.
It's really getting infuriating, as I game quite a lot and can't seem to find a solution. We had a bunch of techs come and replace the lines last year; that did nothing. Today, we got a new modem thinking it was the old one that we had for nearly ten years, and the connection is still dropping. The upside? It's an SB6141 modem, and we have ERROR LOGS now, so we can get to the bottom of this! Apparently, my modem is a time machine because some of the errors are dated 1970. Here they are. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS...
