For those with lower usage requirements or who are on a tight budget, we have plans at a very attractive price and quotas high enough to satisfy the demands of most customers. As a bonus we have an unlimited usage window for all our listed plans that runs between 2am and 8am every day and can be used to schedule some serious free downloading. Then it was changed. I don't watch my usage that often because I don't come anywhere near the cap but I have had bw after midnight show as free. |

It was never changed. It was that all along. You're just mistaken.
Ebox (also an awesome ISP, but no cable TPIA in Ontario) has an unlimited window from 2AM to 2PM. Teksavvy and Start are both 2AM to 8AM. |

Why are you so abrasive and right about everything? Don't waste your time with a reply, unless you insist on having the final word...again. |

Next time, be better educated before you say "You're WRONG" to others first. This isn't the last word. This is just reality. |

Hmmmm still down for me after restarting and resetting everything. Maybe he's allowing us access one member at a time to minimize bandwidth usage |

Anyone else confirm that services have been restored. I've talked to a friend and we are both still down. |

I thought they got out of Rogers and decided to stick exclusively to Videotron?
Either way, the Ebox crew are great. |

Awesome. They're a great company to work with. The more the merrier. |

The problem (for me) is the high price of entry, the $65 fee that is forced upon us, is a barrier from jumping from provider to provider. I did that for years with DSL and finally settled with 3web on cable, till I jumped to Vmedia. |

well, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I'm with TekSavvy today, but I would not hesitate to go with eBox in the future if I ever need to make a change. |

I have to say I'm a little surprised that no email was sent explaining the downtime. As the initial message said "the Cable company may have placed a block". Well did they? Or was it something else? Unfortunately I'm stuck with IkTel for the next month and a bit as the billing date for me came around the time of the outage. Oh well... |

You have not been around them long enough to know that they do not know how to communicate, and if they do, they simply won't. That, zero customer service and frequent downtime is why you are paying the lowest rate of any TPIA. No point in complaining, nothing changes with these bozos.
As far as I'm concerned, customers should be able to leave without notice because this company is clearly in breach of contract. Unfortunately, they will not release you for 30 days because they have this control. There is only one way this is going to change - a class action lawsuit. |

Iktel will let you out at the end of your billing cycle. Keep in mind, I sent them a message on Sept 5 via their website, an email on the 6th and finally called on the 10th, leaving a voicemail noting that I had sent a message and email and had received no response. They sent me an email about 3 hours later confirming it will be disconnected on the 23rd, the last day of my billing cycle. |
