We have been experiencing slow speeds, regular drop outs, sites not loading, Skype cutting off in middle of calls etc.
It is a wifi network, so I accept that the router could be a problem and I must still try a direct cable connect myself. But my son when visiting tried that and I don't think things improved.
We are on the 10/1.5 Mbps plan. But speed tests are mostly less than 1/2 of 10.0 for downloads:

/testh ··· 56/fff0dNo meaningful line test - not sure how to make our system pingable without jumping through too many hoops
A month or so ago when I ran some tests, I always got the full 10/1.5. Nothing has been changed at our end.
I have cleared cache, run malware and virus checks etc with no improvement. Visitor experienced same problems.
Router is Dlink DIR-615 but with DDWRT installed. Has been rock solid since DDWRT was installed a year or so ago.
I am going to run some more tests, but posted to see if this could perhaps be a Cogeco problem in our area?
Maybe I should call Cogeco. Will once I have exhausted other avenues because I know the first thing they will tell me is to unplug and plug the modem - again
