[INTERNET] Show us what you've got.

With all the upgrades going on I though it was time to share our speed tests. Ok really I just upgraded to turbo 20 on the new upgrades and feel like gloating I know it's unattractive but I don't care.

This speed test is above what I'm rated for (20/2) even with some loss over wireless. I needed a tech to come out and upgrade my modem, I haven't looked to see which one yet.

It's a Friday in the afternoon so I'll see how it is at peak usage.

Edit: Updated package name, my Cogeco page doesn't reflect my new package yet.

Hah, your Express 10 looks a lot like my Turbo 20!

So far I'm patiently waiting for my 10mbps upload

Still waiting for the 10Mbs upload, which hopefully will switch over in the coming weeks.
When I was with Turbo 14, I couldn't take the speeds (too inconsistent)...Turned out it was my modem, because ever since getting a new one and going with Turbo 20, it has been great.

Lucky you, here in Wheatley Ontario I am on Cogeco cable lines and here are my speedtest results:

Ping: 47ms
Down: 2.76mb
Up: 2.07mb

This is SUPPOSED to be a 20/2 service, how do you think I am enjoying this????!!!!

Looks like a congestion or signal issue. I'd have a tech come and check it out. Give cogeco a call and they'll help ya out. Got some family in leamington and their speeds are great.

Oh.

Kimmy's "Show us what you've got" thread didn't materialize the way the title suggested it might.

Considering the wife and kid are also streaming right now, not bad on a 14Mbps line, planning on changing back to TS in the near future, installer said a few weeks ago that they hope to get DOCSIS 3 in December with any luck.

In Hamilton? You should be getting higher upload I think. Try removing the power cord (and battery if you have our phone service), leave it for 30 seconds and plug it back in.

Droid, your modem is still showing an uptime of over 6 weeks, meaning it never lost full power. Can you remove the battery, then the power cord and then put both back?

Downgraded to the most basic pack for my TV and upgraded the internet from Turbo 20 to Ultimate 30. Just curious but is there a noticeable difference between Ultimate 30 & 60 for streaming things (ie. Roku, Netflix, Crackle etc.), besides the increase in the bandwidth cap. Thinking of going to 60 at the end of the year.
