Please, how do we do it ?

I have two entries for Start, now that their forum got promoted, and need to purge their old listing.

go to the pick favorite forums screen, scroll down and at the bottom somewhere you should find them to un-check.

 
Nope.

I checked both before and after you said that, and the page for picking does not offer ANY ad-hoc/cover forums, to pick, nor to unpick.

IOW, I could not add Acanac's ad-hoc forum either, for example (and I might also wish to do that).

My page where only the already chosen ones are summarized only offers links to go to each forum, and the unwanted link seems to lead to a mirror or alias of the new 'real' forum, judging by the URL when I get there, nd including the old 4-digit identifier, 2941, in this instance, for Start Communications.

I have bookmarked this thread, and can adapt the code to other adhoc forums.

Is this mentioned in a FAQ anywhere ?

I also have a non-removable item (news story) stuck in my Favorites.

How can I remove it?
