[Rant] Tuning into HBO possibly auto-subscribes to it?

I accidentally tuned into an HBO channel last night. When I did, instead of getting a 'Not Authorized' message, some box popped up thanking me for subscribing and that it would be activated within 2 hours!! Tuning into other premium channels pops up a box, but that just has links to more information, or back to the Guide.

So far, as of this morning, tuning into HBO channels still just gives that box, so maybe it's more of a bug and not actually active. I'll see on the next bill.

Anyone else see this, or are willing to take the risk?

That's OnDemand. I'm talking about the linear channels.

Found a way to see what services I have without waiting for a bill (although I don't know how up to date it is.)

From the account view on comcast.com, go to "My Services" near the top. Under the Xfinity TV (and Internet) is a tiny 'upgrade your package' link. That opens a new tab, and on top is a 'View Your Services' drop-down you can use to see what you currently get.
