Re: Will Comcast allow business & residential at same address?
I currently have both residential and business at home. Working on trying to cancel business as I don't need the large download caps or static IP any more and I'm getting 50/10 residential for half the price of business 16/3.
In this process of doing this right now. Signed my cancellation paperwork back in June for an August 18th disconnect. I own my own modem and they have yet to cut the service. I called earlier this week to find out what's up and the disconnect was "pending" something. They've "escalated" it and supposedly it'll be taken care of in a couple of weeks. I was hoping they'd disconnect it the 18th or 19th so I can do the walled garden setup for the residential service. I should have had them taken the modem off the account earlier; I really don't understand why it should take so much time to remove the modem from an account.
