 | what does 15mbps cost in Greenville, North Carolina? What does 15mbps cable internet cost in Greenville, North Carolina?
I asked a few friends who have the same service in Greenville. All of them have just internet only. Their monthly bills shows different prices. $45, $40, $35.
Why are there 3 different prices for the exact service in the same city?
Thanks! |

| I've asked this question many times and no cable company will answer it.
Basically, pricing is just a made up thing you and you need to keep on them to get better pricing. Almost every time I've called in I get upgraded to a better package/speed, and the price of service reduced. Doesn't really make any sense, but basically it is what it is. |

There is introductory rates, returning customer rates, and REGULAR MENU PRICE is most businesses.
What other mystery fees are there, or what is the line fee since your not subscribing to cable
out here they charge I think $45 for the slow 15Mb internet and $15 to have service drop since you don't have service They don't have a REGULAR MENU PRICE for their services. And the lady at the office won't tell me anything unless I sign up. So you have to be a customeralready to know what they will charge. They used to give out a "regular menu price listing" on back of last page of statement but that was always incorrect compared to what is "itemized" on the bill Would rather have a truly itemized bill line by line with billing item numbers to compare bills to. Instead of "High speed internet 15M" which you probably see I don't know since parents have all 3 services they offer here.
I bounced away from cable a long time ago when they told me I could run an Internet Information Server from my house.
Concerning cable tv My parents just had basic/expanded SD analog/digital channels and paid 15 more than getting the sl200 package which includes a cable box and HD channels Why pay less for more equipment, and that equipment eats up bandwidth with on demand services? I guessed the data mine of knowing what your watching, and the advertisements in the guide make them want to urge you to get the cable box to save the 15 bux. |
