1 recommendation | New card = happier camera, and photographer :) Hey guys,
I've always been annoyed that my camera (Panasonic GH2) would start fading during burst shots after five or six shots, to the point that I was beginning to research a new system. Last week I was reading an article that was talking about the new really fast SD card format but figured my camera was old enough that it couldn't handle that speed but decided I could at least try a card faster than the 20MB/s card I had so I got a pair of Sandisk Extreme 16GB 45MB/s cards.
Today was their first sports outing and ... Heaven I was in burst mode, and it just kept going and going. I wasn't expecting such a huge change but I'm very happy with my purchase now. They've breathed new life into my camera. Who'd have thought such a little thing could make such an amazing difference!!
Just wanted to share my joy with people who would actually understand -- "While you can teach an old dog new tricks, you simply can't teach him to be a cat."

1 edit | Although you're elated there must be some sort of resentment on not having a excuse to get a new camera Sandisk Extreme cards have always performed well by me. -- Good judgement comes with experience...Experience comes after bad judgements |

1 recommendation | A part of me would naturally love a new toy but a whole new setup would cost me 2-3 months rent, and I kinda like my roof where it is -- "While you can teach an old dog new tricks, you simply can't teach him to be a cat."

My sister and I have the exact same Canon Rebel T3, purchased at the same time. She has some no-name 4GB card in it and I have a Class 10 16GB card from Kingston. The cameras feel completely different when shooting. The upgrade of a memory card is more than worth it. I'm glad your experience worked out so well for your needs. |
