Wireless HDMII'm thinking about purchasing a new television and mounting it to my wall above my gas log. But I don't think the idea of multiple wires snaking up the wall. Since I'm renting, punching holes to run wires through is out of the question (the most I'll do are holes for the mount). I'm thinking about getting one of those wireless HDMI transmitters I've heard about. I know most of them only have on port, so I was wondering if using one in conjunction with a HDMI switch would work. I currently am not using an external audio device, but I might end up getting an audio bar system (probably wireless). Currently have a PC, PS3 in the living room and need them all connected to the television (eventually a PS4 and Xbox One, minus PS3). The devices I plan to use for the television will be in the same room within 25 feet.
Anyone here with any experience with a wireless setup? Any drawbacks? How well does it work with gaming (any video lag)? Any recommendations? |
