[crt/lcd] Monitor maybe on its last legs

In the past week the monitor has gone from clear to blurry, before I pitch it and replace it with another I'm just wondering if a fix is economically viable.

I've checked DVI and VGA and swapped to fresh cables and desktop machines to isolate it being a GPU issue. The display issue persisted through. I've tried changing resolution and frequency settings to no effect.

Occasionally on a new window, the screen will show correctly for a moment then revert back to the effect shown.

Unless it's a relatively easily diagnosable and fixable issue, a fix is usually not economically viable.

I bought the LG EW224 22-inch 1920x1080p/60Hz back in August 2012 and it's still working great for me.
