 | There is a daily quest on the Timeless Isle where you have to answer a WoW releated question. I thought of this! |

IMO it needs the following 1. more questions 2. decreasing reward if your wrong. -- semper idem 1KTzRMxN1a2ATrtAAvbmEnMBoY3E2kHtyv |

 | I'm sure I checked on Icy Veins last night and they had a good 20 questions listed. I didn't pay too much attention to it though, as I knew the answer to the question I had. (What are undead Murlocs called?) |

 Carpie join:2012-10-19 united state kudos:2 | Yeah there are definitely more than 3 or 4. The undead Murlocs is the only one I've gotten right. At this point I don't even read the questions, I just keep hitting the third answer until I get one correct. -- Absolution -- MSV: 6/6 0/6H -- HoF: 4/6 -- ToES: 4/4 -- ToT: 12/12 -- SoO: 2/14F */14 Pride and Ego -- MSV: 6/6 1/6H -- HoF: 6/6 -- ToES: 4/4 -- ToT: 11/12 -- SoO: */14F */14 |

Where's the fun in that? Plus I'd be interested in knowing the answers. |

Interesting I keep getting the same 4 over and over again. for fun I picked the wrong one to see how many questions it'd give. -- semper idem 1KTzRMxN1a2ATrtAAvbmEnMBoY3E2kHtyv |

 | Yeah I have gotten alot more than three questions. I also know for a fact I would not be good at WoW trivial pursuit. Guess I should read more. -- Feralmordius on Ravencrest Server (US) Tank for Pride and Ego |

Me too. I've seen probably a dozen different questions, The undead Murloc one comes up a lot.
I also discovered, like Feralmordius , I'd be terrible at this game. Then again, like the original Trivial Pursuit, I'm sure I'd learn the answers after playing a few times. -- "Progress isn't made by early risers. I would be horrible at this game. All I know from WoW lore is that Horde = Good and Alliance = Bad. |
|
Carpie join:2012-10-19 united state kudos:2 | I agree. You should probably skip it. |

Carpie join:2012-10-19 united state kudos:2 | Hey that reminds me. I haven't read any of the wow/warcraft related books but would like to start. I haven't really looked into them much other than to know there are a ton of them. And I'm assuming they are not all part of the same series.
So as a person coming into this cold, where would I start? -- Absolution -- MSV: 6/6 0/6H -- HoF: 4/6 -- ToES: 4/4 -- ToT: 12/12 -- SoO: 2/14F */14 Pride and Ego -- MSV: 6/6 1/6H -- HoF: 6/6 -- ToES: 4/4 -- ToT: 11/12 -- SoO: */14F */14 |

ImmerGentlemanPremium join:2010-01-07 Evans, GA kudos:8 | I'd start with Warcraft: War of the Ancients Trilogy (By Richard Knaak) if you started playing in BC. Arthas: Rise of the Lich King (by Christie Golden), if you started in WotLK The Shattering: Prelude to Cataclysm (by Christie Golden) if you are a fresh newbie. -- Intelligence is no substitute for Character. |

I remember the post-DS days in Cata when someone had an addon that did WoW trivia and I won 10000g for the highest score. Definitely will want to get this game . Btw, some of the questions from the NPC on Timeless Isle were too obscure even for me. I had one about which character said SMC was too clean. I remember NPCs from the various races at the entrance commenting about it, but dang if I could remember what they said. Luckily I can just try again. |

I never cared for the story. I was only in it for teh fat lootz. |

Bring a lunch if you are reading the Knaak books. I love to read, but I find his writing style..... tedious. Golden's books I found to be really well done and enjoyable. |
