[Cable] Is there a way to see the full log from a cable modem?

I have a DCM475 but when I go to the event log page you don't actually see the whole log, not even the entire line of the entries.

Is there a way to see at least the whole line? Better yet the entire log somehow?

Eg of what I see currently:

Wed Sep 11 17:05:01 2013   Critical (3)  Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Un... 
 Time Not Established  Warning (5)  DHCP WARNING - Non-critical field invalid in response ;CM-MAC...

 Time Not Established  Critical (3)  SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire QAM/Q...

I looked at the page source (i.e. raw html of the log page) of my DCM475 and the text there was also truncated. So unless there is a hidden setting page, I am afraid what you see is what you get.

Not sure how to get the full untruncated logs, but here are the ones you posted if it helps.

-Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received, timed out
-DHCP WARNING - Non critical field invalid in response
-No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out
-SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire QAM/QPSK symbol timing
-SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire FEC Framing

There might be... Look in the firmware flashing thread for instructions for upgrading with serial to TTL cable. Once you are in the emergency (factory?) mode, you may be able to have the full log printed to screen.

Meanwhile, the log shows up in the flash as almost plain text, here's an example:

I haven't looked at that closely at all, not sure if there is anything interesting.. I find cable modem logs in general to be underwhelming.

Yeah. The modem actually has the full log in its flash memory log buffer. But the internal web server (inside the modem firmware) truncates it when displaying. Doh!

Seems like it's more trouble than it's worth seeing as my errors are probably present on 98% of everyone elses modems as well.
