| This is Off Topic/Current Wiring Setup with Directv Genie I'm sorry for posting this here but I've yet to get answers on two different Directv forums or the Satellite forum on this site. Time is somewhat of the essence.
We currently have 2 DVR boxes. Using splitters, there are 2 tvs on one box and 3 tvs on another. I know that Directv doesn't recommend it but can this setup work with one HD Genie box and one Genie mini? If so, will it require wiring changes/adjustments? Will all the Genie features work? For instance, will recorded programming be viewable from both the Genie box and the mini no matter which system recorded it? Will the split screen work for viewing two shows at one time (can't see ever needing to do that tho!)?
