Roided join:2012-01-04 Coraopolis, PA | Timeless Isle Pet Scenario Anyone else try this yet?
I have 260 unique pets and somewhere around 45 level 25 pets and i got owned. Once you enter in you cannot heal or revive pets. You then have to defeat 3 different trainers with all legendary pets. I got through that part and then you have to kill 4 different pet bosses (the ones that take 50% less dmg and theres only one of them and they hit like a truck. Once you kill all these then you get the reward for a special token that 3 can buy other pets, 1000 timeless isle coins and 150 valor i believe.
I got through the 3 trainers but was stuck on one of the pet bosses. i feel like you are going to need at least 60 level 25 pets to make it through this, unless your teams are contructed really well. I could list to everyone what i used to get through the first 3 trainers but was wondering what ppl used to take down the pet bosses. |

Theres some strats on the Warcraft Pets forums. I'm not going to try it until the weekend, or maybe early next week.
The daily guy with Lil'Oondasta is a pain, especially since the nerf to the Unborn Val'kry. I use a Clockwork Gnome, Darkmoon Tonk and Darkmoon Zep. Turret, he pulled the Tonk in, Shock and Awe, Ion Cannon Tonk dies, put Gnome back in, Turret, Metal Fist, he swapped the Zep in, Decoy, Missle until either dies, Gnome if need be, Turret, Metal Fist.
I found he owned both Chrominus and Water Spirit meaning lining up a sub massive hit (without Curse of Doom from the UV) under Howl isn't feasible. I also tried a Howl/Ion Cannon combo but that did too little too late and I was better off with the extra mech. |

I start off casting call lightning from the micro sentry. Chances are you die on first hit but when rezz'd back i then cast fel immolate on him. When the micro sentry dies i bring in clockwork robot and i throw up sticky grenade. Next turn i hit him with toxic smoke. Then i just keep hitting him with missles until robot dies. By that point you shouldnt have much left to take him down so just use any of the custodians abilities you want to finish him off. Seems to work pretty much everytime. |

Explode works well on the Little Tommy one too.
One trick I found on the pet scenarios is that they don't penalize you for surrendering a fight. So if you have your pets looking like they're going to die you can white flag the fight, then pair two of them up with a healing pet like Sea Pony who can back row heal. I did that on the last 2 elites, would start the fight, heal, surrender, rinse repeat until they were back at full health to try again. |

Roided join:2012-01-04 Coraopolis, PA | Thats a really good idea that i hadnt thought to try. I leveled a few more pets and can almost beat the tournament now but im stuck on one boss though. That stupid flying boss is ridic and im not sure how to kill it. The guides iv seen all use pets that are new (like the one you can buy with bloody coins) or pets i dont have. The fact that it can heal and dodge is stupid with how fast its speed is, also taking 50% less dmg per hit and cant be hit for more than 35% of its health. I just leveled a pet that can cast arcane winds so im thinkin maybe with two arcane eyes that may work. If anyone has beaten this boss, please post which pets you used. |

For the trainers/spirits and beasts of fable you could roll with a one team per trainer mentailty and heal in between. As such the majority of players had just one pet capable of doing a role.
To do the Celestial Tournament you need a wide variety of "duplicate" pets which has put me off trying it. The pets themselves don't need to be duplicates they just need the same or similar moveset. Now levelling pets isn't hard at all, I can do 2-3 to 25 in a day just through trainer battles, but it's boring as hell. |

Abyl1 join:2010-11-03 Saint Paul, MN | I did the quest last week and finished it following some of the tips at www.warcraftpets.com I have 154 max pets, my first time through I burned through almost all of them and failed. Left, healed, read up and tried again. |
