Revolution Returns Sep 25, 2013

Like the title says,....meh,... I thought they did a fairly good job of ending the series but apparently they plan to go on.

Season 2,....

Hopefully they'll play S1 again. I gave up between like episode 11 and 13 somewhere. I'd be willing to give it one more chance just because there's not much else on.

Hopefully season 2 doesn't start out 7 months later like another show...

Oh yeah, that's why I stopped watching.

I need to do a marathon of Revolution on Netflix. I saw a few new shows on there, that I missed last season. I was "toying" with the idea of getting Hulu prime, because many BBC shows are on there now [I'm not sure if BBC pulled it's content from Netflix, I haven't checked].
But I dislike the idea of paying 8 bucks a month [for Hulu] and having to watch commercials. Now if it was free, or cheaper then Netflix, then sure hit me with commercials.
But if Netflix can offer similar content for the same price and no ads, why bother with Hulu?

But, getting back to topic, Netflix and i are going to get chumy this weekend as I catch up on a few shows. I hope they nab Under the Dome and Siberia as well.

Is a person a failure for doing nothing? Or is he a failure for trying, and not succeeding at what he is attempting to do? What did you fail at today?.

Anyhoo, yeah I'll prolly watch Revolution as it continues. I'm just not going to get myself obsessivly invested in it unless something really dramatic rekindles my interest. There are a lot of new shows this fall too so I'm likely to prioritize those over Revolution this Premiere Season.

My interest in Revolution has always been lukewarm at best much like with Falling Skies,.....

What new shows are you referring to?

Theres a few listed here at Cybermage. And still a few others in the later part 2014 that don't yet have an actual start date. I actually keep this link bookmarked and refer to it as things come up to date so I can add them to my XBMC favorites if they're not allready there.

Sorry, the original question was in response to this bit "There are a lot of new shows this fall too so I'm likely to prioritize those over Revolution this Premiere Season."

So, I was pointing out that those shows weren't coming this fall... that's all

I stopped watching Revolution about halfway through the season, then watched the finale, which reminded me why I stopped watching in the first place.

I guess I'll watch the season 2 premier so my reasons for not watching are up-to-date.

I'm watching it on Netflix.

I need to watch the whole season because:
1]Why is there no refrigeration?
Ammonia was/is still used as a refrigerant. All it takes is a little heat to get it to boil.

2]Bicycles. Sure the like of rubber tires would be "painful', but still people should be able to ride Bicycles, or heck even Human powered "cars". Which are nothing more then a large bicycle that everyone in the vehicle pedals.

3]Steam engines. I know they come across a train, but until then, where are the steam powered equipment? I recall visit a museum in Albany NY. They had steam powered Tractors, steam powered Fire engines on display. They were rather large and looked cumbersome to operate, but I bet they would have worked.

I'm sure some of these questions will get answered as I power on. I'm starting episode 6.
