Demonfang join:2011-04-21 Spring Mills, PA kudos:1 | [Speed/Latency] need an optimization reset just got done getting phone line repaired (no dial tone, person fixed broken wire in box across road), but now my sync is stuck at an optimized rate based on what worked before.
could someone bump this back up to the normal 3 down/768k up sync, and put it on fastpath? in addition, see what it can do beyond that.

Your best bet is to contact them via phone support. The Support Personnel in the Direct forum are ignoring DSL issues. Fast Path will more than likely require you to speak with someone. Your normal speed should come back with your next IP refresh. At least mine did when it got optimized the other night. |

Why not get more than 3Mbps on that? I can't see why 7.1Mbps couldn't work with FastPath. I don't know if Verizon will place FastPath on a quality 10Mbps or 15Mbps line, though.
Is this just one of those areas where ADSL2+ is around but nothing more than 3Mbps will be provisioned? |
