Errow when running: firefox -safe-mode

On my computer I typed in firefox -safe-mode and pressed enter into my terminal and I got this back

(process:1967): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion `sys_page_size == 0' failed

** (firefox:1967): WARNING **: Invalid borders specified for theme pixmap:
        /usr/share/themes/Lubuntu-default/gtk-2.0/images/null.png,
borders don't fit within the image

** (firefox:1967): WARNING **: Invalid borders specified for theme pixmap:
        /usr/share/themes/Lubuntu-default/gtk-2.0/images/scrollbar_vertical.png,
borders don't fit within the image

Does anyone know what that means & if possible how to fix it?

Thank you

That's an old bug that reappeared after an update; I can't remember if it's a Firefox bug or not but the original report and later follows ups are here.

The others are only warnings not errors but does
sudo apt-get install lubuntu-artwork

work?

By the looks of
user-name@pc-name:~$ sudo apt-get install lubuntu-artwork
[sudo] password for user-name:

Hmmm, ok.

Does either of those files exist? Both are part of the lubuntu-artwork package.

It looks like a problem with the theme to me rather than Firefox. Do you get the same warnings when starting any other GUI program from the CLI. That may suggest whether it's specific to Fx or not.

I'm not a *buntu user so I don't know if I can offer much more help.

Status: Unknown, need more info.

Like what other program?

Thank you

A text editor, other web browser, anything that uses windows and has buttons, menus etc.

Type some program names into a terminal and see if the warnings appear for those programs too.

I must apologise for not replying earlier.
