1 edit | MoCA for composite video and ethernet? My MoCA diagram |
Looking at replacing projectors in a newer church which has about a 60-80ft cable run, currently there is no ethernet ran to those locations. The projectors are able to be controlled via LAN and short of a headache in pulling the cat 6 to both projectors, I'm looking into other options.
We currently have a coax cable running to each projector which carries composite video with screw on rca connectors. My thought is using MoCA to carry the composite video as well as the ethernet to the projectors.
With that, do I need 2 MoCA adapters on both ends? Or can I use a splitter, and one MoCA adapter on the sending side without affecting the composite video.
Basically will MoCA work with composite video as opposed to CATV? What about HPNA? I've attached a diagram of how I envision it setup. |
