 1 edit | Erroneous account info on my DSL only account. I have an active landline phone number and address tied into my account that does not belong to me.
I called Telus 7 or 8 times already to have the info removed from my account, but Telus does not seem to want to comply with my request to have the info removed from my account and all the response from the agents I have spoken to already is.... Don't worry about it, you won't be billed for that line....
I just want info that clearly belongs to someone else removed from my account. Or is it going to take me having to cancel my account and create an entirely different account #?
Just curious as to why the Telus billing and accounts agents cannot correct the issue. |

I called the number that is attached to the erroneous address on my account and someone answered. So it is my guess that it is a accounts error of some sort that their landline number got attached to my account.
I just find it strange that this issue cannot (or will not) be resolved by someone in accounts.
I will call in again on Monday to try to convince whomever to correct the issue, otherwise I'll just cancel my account and get my S.O to start an account under her name. |

Well, issue solved.
Cancelled my account and had my S.O create an account under her name. She got a better deal on a 12 month promo than what I am currently paying. Go figure.
