 | DishNet Internet with Cisco E3000 Ever since I had DishNet Internet installed, my home wireless (Cisco E3000 router) has been wayyyy less than stellar. I've tried every router config I could thinkof, but I'm far from an expert (just logical with a bit of tech/router savvy). Main problem is in-home bandwidth/speed coming from the router. I'm trying to use the 5ghz channel for internet and the 2ghz channel for Netflix. Sometimes the Netflix link is so bad we just revert back to normal TV. I don't think weather/blockage interference is the issue as internet direct to the computer (bypassing the router) seems fine. Can anybody provide some suggestions on multi-channel router settings (I've got one SSID for computer/internet & another for Netflix) to help improve the situation? Should the 'dual-band' settings be 'mixed' for both? should I imit the band to 20 or 40 for either SSID - any other suggestions............... |

If there is a logo on the dish or modem it would be helpful to know who your service provider actually is. When you can tell me who that is I'll move your post to the correct forum. |

 | Hey - thanks much. I didn't realize that (but probably should have suspected). The modem is a Hughes modem. |
