Hmmm... Didn't realize this was on tonight. Not on my watch list. For some reason it didn't interest me when i checked out the trailer. I'll download and check it out and see if it's any good. -- "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use." - Galileo
Ya, sadly it started during baseball play off/world series time. So if Fox still has that contract, it's scripted shows will be pushed to the back burner for a few weeks. -- Is a person a failure for doing nothing? If you're talking about that demon thing in the mirror , yeah me too.
I'm finding I'm enjoying these "modernizations" of classic stories, Sherlock, Elementary, Grimm, and now Sleepy Hollow. Since it's Fox, I hope they give it a chance....

I liked it..........hopefully it will keep up the good storyline and not turn in another love-fest,like most of these shows do. -- Sarcasm is the body's natural defense against stupidity.
I thought it was pretty good, with a pretty creepy end to the pilot.
When I first heard about the show, I was wondering how they could possibly make the Sleepy Hollow story into a cop series, but the plot they came up with seems to make sense. Turning the Headless Horseman into one of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse seems like it might work. Plus now they have witches and the devil to contend with. One thing I didn't get was why Ichabod was arrested by the Asian cop for walking down the street in the beginning of the show, especially since there was an "officer down" call put over the radio.
So far I like it. -- "Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." - H. L. Mencken
Recall Just before the horseman killed him, he said he knew where the horseman's head was. Hence why I think he'd know who Ichabod was. He might have been a member of one of those covens. -- Is a person a failure for doing nothing? Or is he a failure for trying, and not succeeding at what he is attempting to do? I think that was Satan that killed him in the jail cell and then walked into the mirror. Is that the scene you were talking about? But even so, if Ichabod can stop the apocalypse from happening, why arrest him? Why not just kill him? -- "Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." - H. L. Mencken
Speaking of io9.com (as I was in another thread), they have a pretty good and fun bit about the show here: »io9.com/heres-why-you-should-be-···33351664 -- ♬ Dragon of good fortune struggles with the trickster Fox ♬

Finally got around to watching it. It was pretty good. One question. Don't these cop cars have dash cams? There are two cops drawing down on a headless guy that just both happen to recant their story later. It was right in front of a cop car. -- "America's moral fabric is thinner than a pair of Lululemon yoga pants." -- Stephen Colbert
Good question about the dash cams. You would think ever cop car would have one, but I think it depends on the city that the police are in. If the city can afford it or not. How "rural" is the Town of Sleepy Hollow? For the show, it looks to have a large police force, hence I'm suspecting it's not a "small" town. -- Is a person a failure for doing nothing? Or is he a failure for trying, and not succeeding at what he is attempting to do? What did you fail at today?.
So that's a small city. And it does make one wonder about the dash board cams. The cop cars had their light bars on? My understanding is the dash cam is inactive unless the light bar is activated. I guess chalk it up to a detail that was over looked. -- Is a person a failure for doing nothing? Or is he a failure for trying, and not succeeding at what he is attempting to do? What did you fail at today?.
The other thing that bothered me was how the cop comes back to life and rips his way out of the body bag, takes a cop car, drives around for almost a full day and nobody seems to notice any of these events. -- "America's moral fabric is thinner than a pair of Lululemon yoga pants." -- Stephen Colbert
