IDE SSD drives?

Hello,

Are there any IDE SSD hard drives around? I have a lab with older equipment and we have lots of HDD crashes, i would like to eliminate this by using SSD..

Any links are appreciated.

Thanks.

Yeah but they're few and far between and priced accordingly. Here's two at Newegg: »www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi···ame=PATA. 64GB for $90 or 128GB for $165 right now. Tiger Direct has an 8GB SLC model for $110 too...

Oh and keep in mind they are intended for use in laptops and use the 44-pin connector so you'll need an adapter: »www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a···A0Y40701

Maybe a standard SATA to EIDE adaptor would work on a standard SATA SSD?
