On the other hand, if you don't do whatever with the UAC, then the tabs run in 32bit while the housing runs in 64 bit and you may or may not be protected, since we don't know the name of the dll that the shim protects. It could be in the 64 bit housing, or the 32 bit tabs.
Sounds to me that 64 bit is open to the exploit. I don't see a reason to run 64 bit until Microsoft patches the zero-day. |
