A thread with a similar title, will likely be the final thread on most WoW forums long after the game has died. Obsession with iLvl by some WoW players is amazing.

Honestly, outside of organized raiding, higher ilevels = worse performance nowadays, cause for some reason, people feel like they can slack off on the mechanics of the fight cause they have more deeps, or more survivability, or a bigger epeen, or whatever the excuse of the hour is.

I heard about one LFR horridon where a few stayed on him, but he died by the 2nd door.

The tactic works in theory. The issue is the adds will still spawn, as will the Warlord and if you don't have a geared enough tank or healer to deal with the increased damage from ignoring them then it's game over. I.e. if the 5 heroic geared players are all DPS, you're screwed.

If he dies during the 2nd door then you won't have many adds yet.

Those are the "elite" players that I run into the most cat, and exactly what I was talking about. I understand the LFR system, but I believe in removing some mechanics (instead of reduced damage) and simplifing the rest, they made it a cest pool for people the fall asleep on their keyboard for the kill. This is mainly why I want to stick to organized normal/heroic raiding, as even though that is still present, and sometimes even more so, the RL is uaully skilled/experienced enough to foot stomp their epeen into the nether and force them to act right. Either way, it makes for some hilarious rage moments...

Pure example, look up Rigg from BL on youtube and watch him rage at a priest that sucked donkey d*ck in a raid. It's dam hilarious. Think it's titled "Rigg rages at Priest" or something along those lines.

Well where the LFR experiences have abused me the last two weeks, the Celestials made up for it last night for my Priest on Ravencrest. Last week they dropped the tier gloves for me and last night they dropped the legs. Hello two piece bonus!

Sitting at 512 here. I've only logged on a couple of times in the last week to do scenarios and random heroics. GTA V has been sucking up my gaming time as of late. I haven't been in or studied SoO at all yet.

Shaman is now at 509 after 2x 528 drops (upgraded the necklace x 2). Still got wing 2 to do, but I'm not sitting about for a wipefest.

my ilvl is 534 equipped right now. I picked up the mace from SoO and the bracers as well last nite off the 1st boss.

I still have a crappy 489 shield from 1st tier of MoP that is holding my ilvl back.

WTB a friggin shield for god's sake Blizz!!! Wasted a ton of time in LFR's along with bonus rolls and no shield yet!!!

542 now (got my crafted belt with double upgrade.)
Come on blizz I need 2 more items or I'll hit the hard cap.

My two mains, Desecration (sPriest) and Demencia (Aff lock) are both tied at 531 at this point.
