 | Recommend BGP router Hi guys, We are going to be peering with 2 different isp's shortly with full routes. I realise the ccr1036 is the job, but what other Mikrotik (cheaper) would be able to handle the full routes? |
|
 | Either CCR1036 or a powerful x86 box.
Dont consider anything cheaper, you may have problems. |

We are doing BGP partial + default with a Cisco 7206vxr and NPE-G1 controller. Used market fairs less for one of those than what the Mikrotik setup is running new right now. CPU is at 12% pushing 130mbps between the two links.
No experience with the Mikrotik CCRs to tell you how it would handle. |

Does it have to be Mikrotik? Imagestream is an option as is an X86 based router with: »bsdrp.net/ -- I survived Hale-Bopp! |
