[Internet] Internet connection randomly resets
Location: Binghamton, NY
Plan: 50 mbps down, 5 mbps up
Description of problem:
Since the first day of service, my internet connection keeps dropping out. I am living in a three-floor apartment building, with each floor being its own cable connections. I bought a new Motorola SURFboard SB6121 after my connection kept dropping out with the TWC-provided modem/router combo. Unfortunately, the new modem was not a magic bullet. Without warning, and seemingly without any reproducible set of conditions, my internet connection dies. The modem automatically reboots, and it records error messages. Time Warner has dispatched technicians to my house several times, and they've never really fixed anything. All they've done is disconnect all of the cable connections on our floor, except for the one the modem is plugged into, in an attempt to resolve the issue. A not-so-brief conversation with Level III support seemed to indicate that there could be a potential problem with the headend, but the support tech was also blunt in stating that TWC might not have an ETA on a headend repair, since they're more complex and expensive than typical problems. The techs dispatched to my apartment also checked the line outside and the pole connections, in addition to redoing the connection in my room that the modem plugs into.
On some days, the connection remains online. On other days, it will reset several times in an hour. In all cases, the issue resolves itself within 2 minutes as the modem reboots, but it obviously wreaks havoc on downloads, gaming, or streaming.
Does anyone have any help or advice? I am going insane. Thank you.

I'm having the exact same symptoms you are having. I'm located at Dallas, TX and I have the 50 mbps down, 5 mbps up as well. I'm using a SURFboard SB 6141 however, but your error logs are similar to mine.
I've been noticing a lot more random drops since Sunday 9/22/2013 and high numbers of correctable/uncorrectables.
