Horrible ping spikes

For the past couple of weeks I have been experiencing very bad ping spikes. This is happening quite frequently (once every 30-60 seconds) no matter the time of day. I play first person shooters, and this gets quite annoying as I seem to lag up to 999 ping for a couple seconds at the worst times. I have tried switching ethernet cords, resetting my modem, etc. and can't fix this issue. Please help

I have been getting the same thing sort of, and I also am in Davenport. My spikes are fairly spread out - like each hour or so. Lasts for only maybe 30 seconds maybe then everything clears up. I had a truck roll a few weeks ago due to low signal also but I do not think the spike lag thing is related to that.

The spikes have gotten even worse, please address the issue

I am running something on the modem now to watch what it does for the next hour. I will followup with you when it completes.

Over the past hour, I saw a ping spike as high as 1400. This does not look like an area issue and would like to setup a tech visit to look into this. Can I set this up for you?
