[Newsgroups] No new newsgroup posts?

I may be one of a very few who still reads newsgroups, but I see no new posts these last couple of weeks. I've checked alt.food.wine through Google and see that there are new posts as of three days ago; but nothing is coming through my newsreader app. I've tried news.dslextreme.com and news4.dslextreme.com. The server is responding, as I can do a refresh of the newsgroup list. Is there any known problem with the newsgroup servers?

Not that I am aware of. Tried replicating, I'm seeing headers from that group as recently as 9/21/13. Is it just that one newsgroup you're having trouble with, or are others acting up too? May just be an issue with the computer or the application you're using.

Thanks for the quick reply, Nick. I believe it may be only related to subscriptions, since that's the only group I subscribe to (Xnews) and that's the only group I see this problem with. I'll see about using a different newsreader or perhaps clearing out my Xnews settings.
