Tech support hold time: 1h45

A Rogers truck was parked outside my mom's apartment building this morning. When the tech left, her cable was dead. I called tech support for her, and after all the press for this, press for that, reboot your box crap, I'm told the hold time will be 1h45m. Wow. Seriously Rogers? Those sky-high prices and record profits and you can't answer the phones? And try hiring some competent technicians.

Yea, they're talking 2 hour wait times over in the Rogers Community Forum. Gotta wonder. Must be a lot of UNHAPPY campers 'cause we know they have a large phone support staff there. A WHOLE building full, someone here said. I'll bet it's that NextBox 3.0 bogging things down. WHAT a piece of JUNK I hear.

Rogers tech support staff........THATS a laugh......

A lot of the techs working out in the field don't even work for Rogers. They're contractors. Ramkey for example.

The good news is that Rogers called back 3.5 hours later and arranged a tech visit from 8am to 10am this morning. The tech showed up at 9am and reconnected whatever the previous one had disconnected.
