[Need Info] Anyone having problems in NYC 10024?Starting this afternoon, my connection got very flaky. For several hours it would go out for 5-10 minutes then come back. It's back now and working fine for a few hours. While this was happening, my next door neighbor had the same issue. If it hadn't been for that, I would have thought my cable modem was having intermittent failures.
I called RCN and was told that there was no outage in my area, and (after the usual unplug/replug things) they set up a service visit for Tuesday(!).
So it seems pretty clear to me that there was an outage, and it just hadn't gotten into "the system" yet. Did anyone else near me have problems?
