| Netbios and Arris Gateway I have WOW Ultra TV with the Arris gateway modem, and every time I try to ping a hostname in my Workgroup I get hostname.wowway.com. Is that a setting within the Arris modem I have to change? Or is there a setting on my computer that need to be changed? I have the TCP/Netbios service running and enable within my network adapter, and the DNS service running on the computers. I am trying to remote into different computers all running Windows 7. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. |
