I don't know if this clue helps in investigating my very slow internet speed but it happened right after a whole day of pouring rain. |

It is really too bad your modem does not provide line stats. That would be extremely helpful in determining if low speed is caused by your DSL circuit or problems elsewhere within the ISP.
Does DSL share the same line as telephone? If so how is quality. Any noise especially when phone is first picked up? What about crosstalk - other voices?
Any news about your repair ticket?

 | Hello, The verizon tech from India talked to some folks this morning and got the speed up a bit. Now it is up to .87 on the download but the upload went down to .08. Still feels really slow tho. How can I get the line stats from the modem? I currently pay $22 per month for 1mbps of internet service -according to the tech. I wonder how much it would cost if I increase the mbps. I have not noticed any static or crosstalk in the phone..I used it yesterday. DSL shares the same line as the home phone but there are no phones attached to the jack where the modem is plugged in. |

The last four of your phone number is 2547, correct? I don't see any issues in our network, your stats are clean. One thing to try, I put you on a different router. Let's see if that helps. |
