 | HDMI problem with PACE(SL)rng110 all works perfect, end to and RNG > AV Rec(new Yamaha) > LG 55LM6400 (new too) when you turn on the rng110 it never ever the RNG, fails to ever turn on a TV DIRECT (2 TV'S) OR MY NEW Yam V375 my Sony Blue ray DVD works perfect HDMI cables in to any LG /or YAM. (any port)
This feature, is the HDMI pin 19 hot swap detect line failing. It's failing out of the RGN110 box. (proven) I have not called suddenlink yet. will do that monday.
I expect my RGN110 to turn on the Yamaha, then the Yamaha the TV. Just like the Blue ray, I have tired 4 new HDMI cables , one is all gold series. all fail. non fail on the bluray dvd any ports.
I went into the RGN menu and tried all HDMI settings. no joy .
at wits end,,,,
to watch cable, i must. (its HD service) 1: turn on STB first "setopbox RGN" 2: then AV rec. (bam sound) {Yam} 3: then TV, LG TV see video, sound is dead. (i have internal tv speakers off) 4: then push AV rec. HDMI key 2. bam , surround sound.
i tried all permutations and this one, works every time. what a pain.
the YAM is setup perfectly. classic HDMI and pro speakers, all 6. by the book. Im using CEC And ARC, TV in to YAM out. |

| I think there is a problem with the Pace 110. If we switch it on at the same time as the TV (A Vizio) then there is often no sound. Sometimes it works right, sometimes it doesn't. I can just switch the TV to a different input and then back to the HDMI input that the Pace 110 feeds and sound comes back. I've even swapped out the box with no change. We just leave the Pace on all the time. (It doesn't seem to save energy to turn it off anyway. It runs HOT even when it's off). |
