There is a tie in from the last SHIELD to the new Captain America movie
There was?
yep Agent Sitwell was in it. And the mission he got called away from in SHIELD was the mission on the Ship. See here »observationdeck.io9.com/ ··· 58072929 near the beginning of the article
Thank you. I guess I've over looked a lot of stuff on that show. I agree with he guy from the link you posted, they've been "clever" in tying the series to the movies.
we also now know why fury hasn't been available (and is likely not to be); but i wonder if the mole is/was mr. pierce? further, s.h.i.e.l.d. is no more and that will definitely impact the show. the season finale should be a good one!
but yes like Darcilicious says, no word yet on a season 2... there are however some "spoiler" material in the wiki to kind of outline the tie in with Capt. America: Winter Soldier and Hydra; just nothing really overtly hints at a further season at this point.
Personally, I do like the show it just needs a little more impetus to carry it further making it more action packed and exciting for us viewers. These last few episodes just might do it.
If they keep tying the show to the Marvel movie releases, I can see it sticking around and maybe gaining a few more viewers.
Kinda like Defiance the show and the game. Though the game is kinda lame, it is nice to be able to interact with the TV characters, and see off screen[show] events unfold. Supposedly before the second season of Defiance, there will be new game content that will tie into it.
But I think Marvel/Disney did it better. Though from what I read SyFi rushed/forced the game to launch sooner then the devs wanted it to, hence why the rocky/rough start.
I hate it when a show runs over. My DVR switched to recording Supernatural, so I missed the last few minutes of Shield. I really want wats his face to die a horrible death. Ward
I forget, has this show been picked up for a season 2?

I think it's worth rewatching this latest episode again and paying attention to all the subtle hints in his behavior (the advice he gives to Fitz about Simmons, the way he empathizes with May about "following orders" even when it's not what you want to do) and his conversation with Skye about his brother and parents (who were also "bad"). I think he really does love Sky but fears his brother more. You have figured out who his brother is by now, right?
A bummer they didn't have an Amazing Spider-man tie in. Granted The X-Men are in the mutant verse, so it make sense not to have tie ins to AoS. Though I think spidy has crossed the lines a few times. He's worked with the Avengers and Wolverine.
