The .175 version I, and others, downloaded last week is exactly the same.

Just redownloaded and the Digital signature time stamp is still Sunday, September 15, 2013 21:04:01.

Agreed, here as well, validation tool says my ".175 " is a Beta.

I am totally confused!! One of my links says that I have a Beta installed, another says that the xx.175 is the version for Internet Explorer...
How and where can I check to assure myself that no other updates are installed to my machine? I've always had this set to NOTIFY me when updates are available; not install..

EDIT- I found where to correct the update notifications..

The distribution download site for non W8 is pretty much the best adobe site to check from of what's the latest released. The about site is also a good place to check but there is a little delay today for some reason in publishing today's release of W8 version .175.
