[rCable] Rogers to Start comple ..woohoo

The switch went smooth, swap modems, waited... reconfigured my outlook email.
rebooted PC, and router.

Speedtest & Pingtest was great 35 down / 10 up . Pings average 11s

really happy with the new service... thanks ROCCA.

After all that, I sat down and grabbed a coffee. I hear a knock on the Door.

Bell rep, "Hi, your block now has FTTN, Fibe TV and home phone available would you like to talk about it?" uhmm no sorry you're too late... .....lol

Lol, same thing happened to me.

Right after I got start installed, Bell rep asked me some questions if I was buffering or something.

well FTTN is pretty good through Start too. it's nice to have options because you never know if one service might start having local node issues or whatever in your area.

I believe my CO is 4.5kms away "Streetsville CO where Fiber is located".
so it's all copper from my house to the CO. which could be 10 km worth of lines.. I will get a fraction of 25d/10u

for VDSL2 they run fibre to the brown box somewhere near your block. you're likely only a few hundred feet away. you can tell if you qualify for 25/10 or 50/10.

Thanks for the reply. I never saw any trucks in my area doing any type of work. that worries me.
Well according to Bell's website, my location doesn't qualify
