| This is beyond crazy I can't believe this crap!
Is there some reason why the federal government thinks it is their obligation to ensure that the RIAA stays in business to the exclusion of all else, even if it means rescinding basic rights of the people and turning the U.S. into a veritable police state? In claiming to protect "intellectual property", these government know-nothings are trying to pass legislation that will make the creation of said intellectual property impossible! The hypocrisy of the CBDTPA's supporters is almost existential in its totality!
This has got the be the worst example of corporate ownership of legislators that I have ever seen. I'm certainly going to remember this come next election day. And in the meantime, I'm drafting a letter to mail to every influential person I can locate. This kind of crap won't go unnoticed by those of us with functioning neurons.
