| Vertex 3/Agility 3/RevoDrive 3 firmware update I got an email earlier today stating that there's a new firmware version for the above drives (RevoDrive 3 X2 included), 2.50. It looks like it actually came out a week ago. Changelog below:
•Added Enhanced Secure Erase Feature (Behavior same as standard Secure Erase)
•Fixed a rare condition where a write command during the SATA error handling process could cause the drive to hang
•Improve WHCK TRIM performance on Win8
•Improved unsafe shutdown recovery error handling
•Improved power state transitions from PS6 to PS1
•Fixed a timeout issue during SATA error recovery
•Fixed an issue that could hang the self-SMART test
•Fixes issue with SMART Attribute 174 (unexpected power cycle) would still increment after Standby Immediate command was received and drive was power cycled

| The toolbox is the same version as before. The firmware isn't included in it. It downloads the latest version once it detects what SSD you have.
I was going to update my spare PC's Agility 3, but it's being dumb and doesn't want to boot off of either of my thumb drives. I'll deal with it later...
