dead 1704n was it something windstream did?

Hi

I am so pissed off at windstream I could scream. I just got a 1704n a few weeks ago. It work like it should until tonight. I am now using my old reg 1704 modem for internet well I wait for a new 1704n to be sent.

So did windstream kill my modem with a update or did it just die. I was on the inter net and it went out. I pulled power to the modem and only thing that is working is the red power light. I did a reset and all that stuff still dead.

After being on hold for over 1 hour I was told they will have to send me a new one. But is it worth it or are the 1704n modems having problems?

We apologize that happened. The 1704N is a better modem has better wireless capability. If you need anything else please let us know.
