1 recommendation | 11PM PDT = 2AM EDT. Maintenance window is usually 1AM-6AM or something similar.
Emergency maintenance can be any time, though. |

kudos:1 | That's why I said 'unannounced'. I saw it a couple of times when I was an Earthlink Internet customer. It usually means that something was about to fail catastrophically, so they took it down and caused a service outage to prevent a bigger outage later. Either that or they just didn't bother to post the maintenance window to the outage page on the website. |
