Best company for tree removal?

Looking to remove a tree in my yard, and I was wondering about prices.

I did some searches online, but no where do they list a price (you have to contact them to get that).

So, I was just wondering what a ball-park figure would be. I'm guessing it would be over $1,000. The tree is behind my garage, and is probably 30 to 40 feet tall. There is also some wires (electric, cable, and phone) running through the branches as well.

Again, while I know I won't find an exact price without actually talking to someone, a good ball-park estimate would be a good start.

As far as location, I'm actually in Carpentersville, IL. I have Elgin as my location, as Carpentersville, IL is to long to fit in that field! So, a company local to my area would probably be best.
