I kinda love the Free Previews for the Sports channels when their season starts, just proves to me I do not have enough free time, as I normally only catch a couple games at most during the trial... 
I guess if I was retired and had alot of time to spare I might go for it... |

They always do that NHL, NBA, MLB for every season. The first week of the season is free and 1 week after the all star break as well. |

| I just checked, and FiOS ONLY enabled the SD feeds for the Free Preview. WTH.
In years past, They have enables ALL channels.
Maybe they don't want people to call up to get the 7xxx boxes because they are MPEG4 channels in HD. IDK |

| All their HD channels are MPEG4 now. The switch happened last year, I believe. The MPEG2's are only the SD channels. |

Come on FiOS people are going to have to get MPEG4 capable boxes eventually.

This does not makes any sense at all. Why can't they turn on the HD feeds? They did so for the MLB preview on the same channel numbers, as well as last year Hockey Free Preview.
What makes this time so different? |

I have been able to get free games on my xbox NHL Gamecenter app. Not sure if there is some kind of trial going on there. Kind of pissed about Verizon. The free trial is to showcase the package so you will buy. SD games make me want to not watch the game as it reminds of when the Flyers play on CSN on Verizon Fios!! |
