 | [Telephone] Phone block Card Holders Services I just discovered that Charter phone allows you to block 12 phone numbers. I sure do wish I could block more. I get calls from Card Holder Services. While they do call from the same number, they also call from new numbers. From Googling Card Holders Services, they seem to be unstoppable in annoying anyone that happens to get on their list.
I hope others will work with me and try to ask Charter to increase the call block limit. Thanks |

| Yes it dose seem to be a small number and that is why i have not yet used it as i would need to be able to block more then that if i started using it.
I would think this is a limit of the phone modem and that a new modem might have more storage to hold more numbers, but that is just a guess. |

 | I doubt the phone modem stores any of this information. It might have more to do with the phone switch (that relays calls to the telephone network) or related software. |

Charter has an allow list too. It allows only 12 numbers to call you and blocks everything else. I turn it on when the Card Services people start calling alot. I just wish the allow list could be a bit bigger. 12 is just not enough... |

I have the same option with a legit calling service, as a manager, i can make the number and name appear as whatever I want, and there is no checking if its legit info or not. You will never block CHS because they can simply change numbers with a few clicks, and move on. |

get a cheap prepaid cell phone, CHS does not call them, not yet anyways. its usually cheaper than charters option, with more features, and also more mobility. |

I've read somewhere here at DSLR where some one came up with a solution.
Get a live operator on the line. Blow air horn in mouthpiece. Problem solved ....... |
