I directed the OP here from another forum.
I know there are some routers that require initial setup over a wired connection and others that require a CD-based setup routine. Neither will work in this case.
Which ones don't have these requirements?
I would guess many routers don't have these requirements. I know my ASUS RT-N66U doesn't require a CD for setup and according to the manual it can be setup via wireless as well - just connect to the "ASUS" open network the router broadcasts out of the box and follow the instructions as if it were wired from that point.
So I can recommend the ASUS RT-N66U at least. |
