[Cable] Samsung to Release CableCARD Set-Top Box

This seams like it would be pretty cool. Samsung is set to release a CableCARD Set-Top Box that supports streaming video apps such as etflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Instant Video. If the Cable Industry won't make a Cable Box that supports Netflix I guess Samsung will the one to do it. Only negative is there is no DVR, but there is speculation they will include Remote Cloud DVR Storage later since they bought Boxee and the Boxee Cloud DVR Storage Service. Maybe combine DVR and Blu-Ray into a device and it would be 100% complete.

1. Why doesn't Samsung or others build CableCard functionality back into TVs like they had 8 years ago? Drop the need for a separate box.

2. Will this box work with a Tuning Adapter so all the customers of Cox, Time Warner Cable, and Charter that have SDV can see the SDV channels?
