Hello My internet service is down since 9:30 pm
It is now 10:10 pm
I am on cable.

Seems to have been a Videotron problem.

Thanks for the info.
What is the benefit of OpenDNS?
Are there any security risks associated with using them?

I use Google DNS for my third "DNS server" as an automatic backup to Ebox DNS.
Google Public DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Thanks for the input

Are you doing this at the router or the computer?
Are there and risks to using Google as your DNS?

In the DHCP service of my router.

I do not see any problem with Google and the third DNS will only be use if the first two one doesn't answer.

I prefer OPENDNS for security reason... Google DNS is good too. I did a benchmark from ebox and OpenDNS is faster then google..

Better than both Google and OpenDNS.
