[Latency] can Bad latency affect Atten/SNR?

i know bad atten/snr can effect latency but can say a bad server/router somewhere also effect atten/snr. all the sudden my Attenuation is 42 and noise ratio is 9.

usually my atten is 32 and snr is 19.

my 3rd hop to h50.140.30.69.ip.windstream.net [69.30.140.50] is pinging 100ms
when its usually 18ms. my 2nd hop is 18ms. so that makes me think something with the above hop has went to crap and is causing my modem issues? just curious

So that 3rd Hop Ip 50.140.30.69 belongs to Comcast Cable Communications Holdings, Inc. DNOC suggests if the customer has another laptop or pc please have them try running the test on this other device. Let us know if that is possible and if so the results.

well as of yesterday the pings dropped back to normal to those hops in Little rock.

and my atten issue was from corroded pins. a Tech came out and found out some moisture got in some equipment somewhere down the line maybe at the dslam? i dunno. but he fixed my signal issues.

The pings were still bad until yesterday and they went back down to 18-25ms. all the sudden. that also goes for the other Hops i posted about in the other post that were acting bad.

Umm the IP was 69.30.140.50 not 50.140.30.69, the reverser DNS has the IP backwards look inside the [] for the reaL ip.

Just FYI for future reference.

lol good catch napster i didnt see she had looked up the wrong IP. i was wondering why she said it was a comcast server... i just copy pasted from the software
