Rogers Cutsomer DDOS'ing me, and many others

playing video games today (black ops 2 league play) i got hit by this kid on xbox ORG x KAZIKRAZ, when i go look in his theater every game hes in he is sitting in corners and everyone on the enemy team goes offline 1 at a time, in my game he hit 2 of my teammates of and failed to get me off before the game ended but continued to hit my conneciton for 20-30 mins after it had happened, forcing me to change my macs to pull a new ip, i have joined this players lobby with him being the only one in it and pulled the ip 99.243.166.86, the ip belongs to rogers and also matches the fact his XBL account sais he lives in canada, any suggestions how to deal with this as im fairly sure that he is not hitting me from his own ip but a botnet or a stress testing site, normal dos attacks do not take my network down, my connection is usually not taken down very easily, usually about 1/10 kids that tried to boot me is successful.

Contact both Microsoft/XBL and Rogers about yours suspicions, also Shaw as well since they're your ISP.

Only rogers can rectify this situation by terminating his service due to abuse/violation of his TOS. Microsoft/XBL may block the IP but that's the worst possible solution because rogers has dynamic IPs and hence someone else might get that blacklisted IP.

There is no way in hell he is DDOSing you from a home cable connection and that would be the only reason Rogers would get involved if it was coming from there network.

How about 150/10 or a business connection? One kid at my school who bullied me booted me off using his 250/15 connection. It wasn't all successful because I have 50/5 but it did make me lag. I phoned Shaw. They suspended his account and his parents raged at him.

Ping'd his IP. No response. Know any ports to test? :P

i was never hit directly from his ip, and im fairly certain he changed his ip when i started messaging him letting him know he was cheating and joined his session in progress in order to pull his ip (i use cain and abel to pull his ip, just like he did to me), ever since then he has not played the game of cod but just diablo 3 and gta5, however i would hope that rogers has loggs of him accessing his irc channel (used for booting) or a stress testing site (ex onionstresser, ragebooter, quantumbooter ect) like if there was proof of him accessing a site then entering values like my ip, a port, and a time, that should be enough to determine that he was the one deciding to initiate the attacks, websites like that are meant for the person who purchases them to use against thereself in order to test services, you are not aloud to just use of these sites to "stress test" or ddos whoever you want, what gave him the right to enter my ip

ps i survive alot of attacks and the other day i was tooken down by a single residential atnt dsl connection, not saying he did attack me from his home connection, but that would still be very possible to do, there are lots of powerful low bandwidth attacks

I do believe that if enough complaints are received, Microsoft can go as far as terminating his account and blocking his console from going onto Live at all.
